Port Mirroring
The Port mirroring is a method for monitoring traffic in switched networks. Traffic through
ports can be monitored by one specific port. That means traffic goes in or out monitored
(source) ports and will be duplicated into an analysis (mirror) port.
Mode: Select the mirroring mode by pulling down the selection item menu: RX, TX or
Both RX TX.
Analysis Port: Select one port to be the analysis (mirror) port for monitoring RX only,
TX only or both RX and TX traffic that comes from source port. User can connect
analysis port to LAN analyzer or Nextray
Monitored Port: The ports that user wants to monitor. All monitored port traffic will be
copied to an analysis (mirror) port. The user can select one monitored port by pulling
down the selection item menu.
And then, select button.
